Welcome, dear German adventurers! My name is Bernd Talu, and I am your cheerful captain on this journey through the fascinating world of the German language. With a considerable number of years in teaching German (let me assure you: my first chalk still had color!) I am here to assist you as we explore the exciting language levels from A1 to C2 together.

As an official B1 and B2 examiner, I not only juggle vocabulary but also school books of all grades. Whether you are in elementary school or sitting in a lecture hall – my goal is to make learning German an unforgettable adventure. Expect plenty of laughter, a pinch of magic, and above all: German lessons that are as exciting as a treasure hunt!

But how did my own journey into the world of the German language begin? Well, it was many years ago in a small classroom where I started as a young teacher. My enthusiasm for the German language and my love for teaching awoke at a time when chalk still adorned the board and textbooks were as thick as treasure chests.

The curiosity of my students and their joy in learning made me realize that teaching German can be more than just grammar rules and vocabulary lists. It can be an adventure, full of discoveries and unexpected treasures. Thus, I became your Captain Bernd Talu, the adventurer in the world of words.
